We recently came across a study that shows the number of licensed architects by state. Since many of our retail agents specialize in insuring architects and design professionals and do business in multiple states, we thought you might find the study interesting. It’s a useful tool to evaluate the market size in a particular state, and may lend some interesting ideas on where to expand your marketing.
Not surprisingly, California tops the list (with 21,347) with New York a close second (18,335) and Texas coming in third (12,118). Compared to its size, Washington DC had a surprising number of registered architects with 3,342.
